A self-paced nearly 10 mile walk on October 11th, 2026 exploring the wonderful neighborhoods of Phinney Ridge, Fremont and Ballard. All are welcome as it is totally free and you can join for 1 mile or all 10.

Highlights will include the Fremont Market, the Ballard Farmers Market, the Locks and Golden Gardens. We will make stops at both markets as well as Golden Gardens if folks would like to join later on in the day. If you choose to join along the route, see below for expected times and locations.

The start will be at the Phinney Neighborhood Center at around 10am and whole event will be about 4-5 hours with breaks along the way. The main group is expected to finish at Urban Family between 2:30 and 3 pm.

Like everything at the Handsome Jack, we sought out the best artisans and craftspeople we could find. There are no shortage of candle makers in the PNW, but none hold a… well, candle to Desi. These Coconut Soy candles have scents that are both exotic and nostalgic. The small, woman-owned company is based right here in Seattle and we are thrilled to collaborate with them!
